A LITTLE ABOUT US

GOOD TREATS.
MESSY BEGINNINGS.

It all started with one very loved dog, one ambitious recipe, and an egg that never made it into the bowl. Turns out, you don't have to be a great chef to make something great for your pet.

WE'RE ALL JUST CLUMSY CHEFS.
Bowser, the miniature schnauzer who inspired Clumsy Chef BOWSER — ORIGINAL TASTE TESTER

01 / THE REASON

It started with Bowser.

Bowser was our first dog. Like a lot of first-time pet parents, we quickly discovered that having a dog changes your priorities in some pretty ridiculous ways.

We could happily settle for a quick dinner ourselves. But Bowser? Suddenly, we were reading ingredient lists, researching treats, and wondering what else we could make for him.

Bowser's mom had an idea: why not make our own? So she recruited Bowser's dad as the family chef. He wasn't exactly experienced, but he was enthusiastic. And that was enough to get the kitchen experiment started.

We didn't begin with a business plan. We began with a dog we loved and a desire to make something special for him.

One dog. A whole lot of love.

02 / THE FIRST RECIPE

Our first recipe? A little scrambled.

The first recipe was Golden Drops, our signature soft-baked treat made with egg.

There was just one small problem. On his very first attempt, Bowser's dad cracked an egg straight onto the kitchen counter. Not into the mixing bowl. Onto the counter.

Not exactly a promising start for the family chef.

But somewhere between cleaning up the egg and figuring out the recipe, we realized something: this was exactly the kind of kitchen we wanted to celebrate.

A little messy. A little imperfect. Full of people trying new things because they love their pets.

And just like that, Clumsy Chef had its name.

Golden Drops came first.
The name came from the mess.

03 / THE CLUMSY CHEF CLUB

YOU'RE PROBABLY A CLUMSY CHEF, TOO.

Maybe you're not a Michelin-starred chef. Maybe your kitchen experiments don't always go according to plan. Maybe you're still figuring out which treats make your pet do that little happy dance.

Sound familiar?

01

You microwave dinner for yourself, then prepare a three-course meal for your dog.

02

You have never followed a recipe perfectly, but you will try five new ones for your pet.

03

You have an entire drawer of pet snacks, yet you're still looking for something new.

Being a Clumsy Chef isn't about getting every recipe right. It's about being curious, trying something new, and going a little overboard for the pets we love.

Different kitchens. Different pets. Same wonderfully ridiculous love.

04 / WHAT'S COOKING

From one recipe to a whole lot of possibilities.

Golden Drops started the adventure. Today, our kitchen has grown into a collection of freeze-dried treats, powders, meal toppers, soft-baked favorites, and seasonal gift boxes for dogs and cats.

Some treats are simple. Some are a little more playful. All are part of our ongoing curiosity about the different ways we can make treat time more interesting.

We're based in Las Vegas, Nevada, but the Clumsy Chef spirit belongs to pet parents everywhere.
